The 2026 film brings together Bologna Children’s Book Fair, BolognaBookPlus for general trade publishing, and Bologna Licensing Trade Fair/Kids: three global events for international rights and licensing trading.
It reports 1,540 exhibitors and 32,652 professional visitors in 2026, with a geographic reach described as “100 countries and regions of the world”.
An expanding Transmedia Hall connects publishing, audiovisual content, gaming, licensing and toys. The film features the Rights Centre for children’s and general publishing, the TV/Film Rights Centre, the Games Business Centre and the Toy Zone, introduced in 2026.
The closing announcement is for 5–8 April 2027, with Poland as Guest of Honour.

THE GLOBAL PUBLISHING ECOSYSTEM MEETS IN BOLOGNA.
BCBF, BolognaBookPlus and Bologna Licensing Trade Fair/Kids take place simultaneously. Each event has its own participation route: booking space at BCBF does not automatically include space in the other two.
